Halcyon Days was founded in 1950 in Mayfair, London.  They are best known for their beautifully enameled boxes. The craft of enameling on copper has been carried out in England since the 1740s and Halcyon Days has become its guardian. A business of tradition, all their enamels are handmade at the heart of where the industry originated by a team of highly skilled craftsmen and master artists who employ refined tecniques and processes that have been handed down for generations. Each piece is a work of art and demonstrates the very best of British craftsmanship. Their craftsmen take great pride in delivering luxury products of the highest standard. When opened this gold mounted objet d'art reveals the inscription, 'In celebration of the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 21st April 2016', and a red leather lined base.
