There's nothing more romantic-sounding than an exceptionally well-made guitar, and there's no finer example of a well-made guitar than a Ramírez. For over 130 years, the Spanish family of makers have been putting the world's best handcrafted instruments into the hands of artists like Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Carlos Santana.
They've spent five generations designing and constructing everything from classical to historical guitars like the Tablao, its tapping plate referencing the rich musical culture of Spain.
We've brought two of these models to our shelves, the 1a "Tradicional" Handcrafted Guitar and the F656 Flamenco Guitar. Both instruments reflect the incredible artistry, innovation and sense of tradition built into every Ramírez. And while both pieces are pleasing to the eye (with an equally handsome internal design), it's their sound that really resonates. Musicians and collectors covet Ramírez Guitars because of the rich, deep timbre. It's a captivating sound that recalls Spain's musical past as much as it informs the music of those who pluck out that same sound today.
